The Cavatina Duo has become one of the most impressive guitar-flute
combinations. Powerful and versatile performances have captivated
the audiences in many festivals of chamber music across Europe.
Cavatina's original programs and exquisite musicianship are
now making the way through music halls in USA.
Critics are raving about their recordings:
"This is not the sort of playing
that comes from discussion and careful score markings. These
two feel the music deeply and are of one mind as they play"
(American Record Guide).
"Outstanding communicative
abilities" (Classical guitar Magazine).
In 1996 they won the "Young Musicians of the Doelen" competition
in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Eugenia Moliner has been acclaimed as a brilliant young
musician by the British Flute Society magazine. She performs
as a soloist and with chamber groups, The New Opus Trio and
Cavatina Duo. Eugenia has recorded two CD's and future projects
include two additional CD's.
Denis Azabagic is considered to be among the elite guitarists
of the world. He is recognized for his marvelous tone and technical
virtuosity. Winner of ten most prestigious international contests,
he has a discography which includes 6 CD's and a video recording.The
mixture of Spanish passion and the sensitivity from the Balkans
make of Cavatina duo concerts a unique experience.
