On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 the Friedman Eye Center and the Carmel Classic Guitar Society will present the AlmaNova flute and classical guitar Duo in concert at Monterey Live (414 Alvarado St., downtown Monterey). The doors will open at 7 p.m. for mixing and the concert will start at 7:30 p.m., featuring flute and guitar music of the standard repertoire and music from the Balkans. Admission is free to CCGS members and $15 for non-members.

There will be a Masterclass at Monterey Peninsula Academy of Music at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 4. People who would like to play for the masterclass should call 484-5848 to reserve a space. The price for the masterclass is $25 per person.
