On Friday, September 23, and again on Saturday, September 24, 2011 the AlmaNova flute and classical guitar Duo will appear at the Magic Circle Theatre in Carmel Valley (8 El Caminito Road), performing international music and classical pieces from their highly acclaimed CD's. The CCGS discount tickets for the Alma Nova concert on Sept. 23 are sold out. If you are interested in attending the concert, you should phone the theatre at 831-659-7500 to see if any seats are still available for Friday, September 23 or Saturday, September 24.

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. General admission is $22.

There will also be a MasterClass at Monterey Peninsula Academy of Music starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 24. People who would like to play for the MasterClass should call 831 484 5848 to reserve a space. The price for the MasterClass is $35 per person for participants, free for auditors. An informal lunch will follow the class at a modest eatery in Monterey (at approximately 1 p.m.).
